Marita has over 12 years’ experience working with adults and adolescents, individually and with couples, groups and families. Her areas of experience include treating anxiety, depression, grief, work stress, mediation and relationship concerns.
Marita has a strong background in organisational psychology, particularly related to supporting people to manage burnout, difficult workplace relationships and toxic work environments. She has a strong interest in working with and empowering women to navigate the challenges that come with relationships, pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, career and overall life fulfillment.
Marita adopts a client-centred approach and often uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) interventions to influence positive and supported change.
