David is a Clinical psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in the area of personality psychology. David is a strong advocate for breaking down the stigma associated with mental health conditions, and believes in accepting all people with a non-judgmental attitude.  He has previously worked in public mental health with young people and adolescents, and has a particular interest in working with these age groups.  David has experience in working with a range of mental health conditions including anxiety and ocd, depression, substance dependence/addiction, personality disorders and the effects of trauma. His treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).


Clients – Adolescents and young adults (15 years+), as well as adults of all ages.

Speciality Areas – Depression and anxiety/ocd, drug and alcohol / addiction issues, personality disorders/interpersonal difficulties, and trauma/PTSD.
