Judy McKay

Registered Psychologist

I am a registered psychologist and an educational and developmental psychology registrar. My knowledge and experience centres around providing assessment and intervention for children, adolescents and young adults. I have worked across educational and multi-disciplinary private practice settings in both Australia and the UK.

I have a particular area of interest in cognitive, educational and ADHD assessment, as well as supporting neurodivergent and neuro-typical individuals across a range of developmental challenges and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is predominantly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, in addition to incorporating techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Play Therapy where appropriate.

I understand that growing up is not always easy, and I aim to provide you with a warm, welcoming and safe space in which you can explore your difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences, as well as identifying and celebrating your areas of strength! I hope that I can provide you with support and equip you with strategies to promote positive wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
