Barwon Heads Triathlon

Our Geelong Psychologists and dedicated admin team laced up, teamed up, and took on the iconic Barwon Heads Triathlon. With three enthusiastic teams representing Growth Psychology Practice, it was a fantastic opportunity for our team to come together and highlight the value of wellbeing and the role it can play in our daily life.

At Growth, we recognise the importance of looking after both mind and body. Staying active, spending time outdoors, and connecting with each other are simple but powerful ways to support mood, motivation and overall mental health. The triathlon gave us the perfect opportunity to practise what we encourage in the community—moving our bodies, having fun, and supporting one another.

Our teams swam, cycled and ran their way around the stunning coastal course, helped along by ideal conditions: balmy temperatures, blue skies and not a breath of wind. After crossing the finish line, we were able to gather at At the Heads to enjoy a complimentary post‑race drink. With ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect spot to unwind, reflect on our efforts, and celebrate both individual achievements and the power of teamwork.

A big congratulations to all who took part and thankyou to those who came along to support! Events like these remind us that when we support each other—both in and outside the workplace—we strengthen not only our bodies, but our community as well.
