Amanda is currently on maternity leave, returning mid – late 2020.

Amanda is a clinical psychologist with experience in a range of complex and chronic mental health issues, working with adolescents and adults. Amanda has been trained in evidence based psychological assessments, diagnosis and therapies that are tailored to a person’s individual needs. She has a range of interests and provides treatment to people suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders and body image related concerns.

Amanda offers a collaborative, non-judgmental, and family inclusive approach that is client centered and recovery focused. She adopts an integrative style of treatment that considers individual needs with readiness for change, and includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy approaches (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness approaches. Amanda has a specialist interest and experience working with individuals with Eating disorders using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) for eating disorders and Family Based Treatment.
