Ali is a registered psychologist with experience working with adults and young people in clinical, community and forensic settings. Ali has completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology in the area of promoting resilience in children exposed to family violence.
Ali offers a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space. She is client-centred, and works in collaboration with individuals to develop their psychological health and wellbeing.
Ali has experience working with children, adolescence and adults experiencing a range of difficulties including; depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, stress, self-esteem, experiences of trauma, relationship difficulties, family violence, and social-emotional problems.
Ali has a particular interest in working with parents, families and individuals experiencing anxiety.
Ali draws on a range of evidenced-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivation interviewing and play therapy.
