You will be working within a well-established private practice with over 15 years experience delivering exceptional psychological services to Geelong and its surrounding areas. You will be supported with established processes, infrastructure, best practice tools, systems and a dedicated onsite administration team to complement the service you provide to your clients.

We have a friendly team of professional and supportive Clinical and General Psychologists. Our Principal Psychologist

Fletcher Hamilton is a Clinical Psychologist and registered supervisor who has over 18 years of private practice experience. He enjoys supporting and working alongside our team providing individual supervision and support on an as needs basis, promoting ethical and client focused practice, & creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Fletcher is generous with his time and knowledge and enjoys helping Psychologists thrive in Private Practice.

Administrative Support

Our administrative infrastructure has been developed and refined over the past 12 years. Your clients will be greeted by a full-time onsite front of house administrative team who are supported by a dedicated Practice Manager trained and specialised in supporting our team’s needs. The administration team work seamlessly to manage client and psychologist administration needs providing you more time with your clients and the headspace to focus on developing and enjoying your practice.

Referral base

We have a strong referral base developed from over many years of operating as a private billing practice. Our referrals flow through consistently meaning you have the ability to hit the ground running upon commencement. We support private clients, Medicare, TAC, NDIS and Worksafe referrals.

Practice Facilities

Our office suite consists of two beautifully restored, light filled and purposely renovated Victorian cottages providing a calm, comfortable and welcoming space as soon as you step foot in the door. We have prime positioning and are centrally located in Geelong with ample parking at the rear for both our clients and staff.

Connection

At Growth we provide fortnightly peer group meetings, team meetings, social events and regular practice lunches/breakfasts and walks throughout the year to promote a sense of community, support and fun. We are also a stones throw to an incredible array of great local cafes for amazing coffee and lunches! Our team consist of a cohesive mix of highly experienced and early career psychologists who share a passion and commitment for practicing psychology.

Flexibility and remuneration

Due to the success of Growth and efficient administrative services we are able to offer highly competitive arrangements that remunerate substantially above P4 salaried positions. If you are working in another private setting and considering making a change we will match or exceed your collected income. Growth is also experienced in providing family flexible working arrangements for practitioners seeking a career focus prioritising the balance of ‘life’ above ‘work’. Growth supports other alternate part-time roles that foster diverse skillsets, career progression, and complement our team. All remuneration arrangements are inclusive of 6 weeks leave per annum and public holidays.

We are looking for a psychologist who has:

  • Strong interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and group or individual supervision
  • A desire to be an active part of a team
  • Current endorsement as a fully registered psychologist with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for registration with Medicare
  • Professional and public indemnity insurance
  • Current Working with Children check and police check
  • Interest in providing adolescent and adult group therapy services
  • The capacity to see clients at least two days per week
  • A desire to join a practice for the medium to long term

Expressions of interest from psychologists requiring support to complete the Clinical Registrar program are welcome and we are experienced in supporting these. Clinical Registrar programs requirements can be met on a full-time basis through three days of consulting plus allowances for supervision.
