Kirsty Brislane

Registered Psychologist

Kirsty is a Registered Psychologist, and has worked throughout regional Victoria in various counselling roles since 2001. From 2006 she has been based in the Geelong and Surf Coast region, working in public and private mental health settings, with individuals and groups. Kirsty’s skills and interests include working with people in the fields of pain management, addiction, sport, rehabilitation, anxiety, depression and chronic illness.

Kirsty utilises evidence based approaches to treatment, and has had additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Pain Management, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Illicit Drugs in Sport. Kirsty is a current Member of the Australian Pain Society. She has an interest in the relationship between physical health, mental health, and performance, and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to overcome barriers to achieving their goals.

In addition to her role as psychologist at Growth Psychology Practice, she also presents education sessions for Tackle Your Feelings.
